Jonathan Muddle, MLT, BA
Director of Simulation, Doctor of Nursing Practice Program
The university welcomed Jonathan Muddle as director of simulation for the Doctor of Nursing Practice program in 2025.
He worked the previous seven years at Stanford University, where he was a senior project manager for healthcare innovation teams in the fields of medical technology, digital health, therapeutics and diagnostics for two and a half years and, previously, was the director of simulation and education from 2018 to 2022. He also gained experience in the field as a simulation supervisor (2017-18) and simulation technology specialist (2014-17) for OhioHealth of Columbus, Ohio.
Muddle holds a master of learning technologies degree (2025) and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Ohio State University (2012). He lives in Portland with his wife, Alexandra, and two kids, Peter and Amelia. He enjoys hiking, spending time with family, and listening to podcasts.
